HOLY HIP HOP CLIQUE- ZAMBIA
The Holy Hip Hop Clique is a legally registered Interdenominational youth Club with the Registrar of Societies, registration number ORS/102/33/422 and Certified according to Section 7 (2) of the Societies Act Cap 119.
This is an inter-denominational youth group that is led by youth leaders from Churches around Kabwe and Lusaka operating as a network for youth ministries and facilitating Capacity Building and Talent promotion for the youth.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to curb the ill effects the culture of hiphop is having on our generation by encouraging the focus on holyhiphop art forms which are positive, constructive and centred on Biblical teachings, thereby facilitating the delivery of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
VISION
To raise a God fearing generation of responsible and productive young people who are effective leaders in their calling and gifting.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
(Discipleship)
· To preach the gospel through song and dance and disciple converts in discipleship classes and link them to surrounding churches.
(Talent Promotion)
· To identify, groom and promote upcoming Holy-Hip-Hop artists (rappers and dancers) and provide a plat form for their exposure and establishment.
(Training and capacity building)
· To train Holy-Hip-Hop artists (rappers and dancers) to project the Art of Rapping and choreography with Christ as the central theme and build their capacity in leadership, financial security, literacy and responsibility.
(Networking)
· To mobilize a consolidated movement of Holy Hip-Hop MCS and Dancers across the country and globe for purposes of youth ministry and the preaching of the Gospel of Christ.
(Availability of music)
· To make available unpolluted hip-hop music on the market as well as on national and private radio and television stations.
(Championing sexual purity)
· To promote sexual purity and curb attacks on the institution of marriage
MAIN ACTIVITIES
1. OPEN AIR PERFORMANCES
These involve setting a stage in the middle of a town, market or residential area and allow MCS and dancers to perform to onlookers and after that preach the gospel.
2 CONCERTS
To organize concerts in major venues across the country and globe allowing established and upcoming MCS and dancers to minister Christ through their skills.
3 FESTIVALS
To allow all Holy-Hip-Hop MCS and dancers from across the globe together in one venue to celebrate Christ and provide an opportunity for exposure and the preaching of the gospel to the lost.
4 ALBUM LAUNCHES
To provide an opportunity for members of the Triple H family to launch any musical project with the full support of the Clique.
5 PRODUCTION OF CD’S, VCD’S AND DVD’S
To produce good quality CD’S, VCD’S AND DVD’S for all albums and all activities captured on film from Triple H events and/or projects championed by Clique members.
6 RETAIL OUTLETS
To run a conglomerate of retail outlets across the country and globe that will stock CD’S, VCD’S, DVD’S and books on Holy-Hip-Hop and Christ.
7. MUSIC PRODUCTION
To access the latest state of the Art musical equipment for the set-up of an audio and video studio. This is to allow production of good quality music CDS and videos. It will also facilitate the training of producers in Hip-Hop beats and video shooting experts.
8. MOTIVATIONAL TALKS
To organize motivational talks for young people in an atmosphere of fun and holy hip hop music, where they will be trained and given know-how on several subjects of interest.
9. PRODUCTION OF YOUTH MAGAZINE
To produce a youth magazine that give opportunity for young people to express their views and seek wise counsel about various issues affecting them and be able to draw inspiration from the insight provided from the various articles.
